Often referred to as the "Jewel of Tsavo". Ziwani tented camp has simplistic beauty and charm. Located in the majestic shadows of Mt. Kilimanjaro, between the famous Amboseli game reserve and Tsavo West Game Park, Ziwani sits right on the banks of the Tsavo River. The flow of water creates natural swamplands within the rugged and often dry African bushlands.

Up to 40 guests can be accommodated in private well furnished tents under large thatched roofs. The tents, with their own shower and bathroom facilities are spacious and the verandas have a beautiful view of the River Tsavo and surrounding bush gardens.
The cuisine is delicious. Both lunch and dinner offer guests a variety of dishes that include fresh salads, meats, fish and vegetables. There is a choice of English or Continental breakfast in the morning and an attractive buffet at lunch and dinner.

Ziwani has been blessed with an enormous variety of rare and beautiful birds and also a diversity of wildlife. Not far away lies the famous cave of the "man-eating" Lions of Tsavo. An early morning game walk ends up at the hippo pool to reveal a unique sight of the hippos basking on the sunlit banks of the river. Professional guides are at hand to lead you on Ziwani's much boasted bird walks and Game drives. Enjoy the best of the two famous game reserves because of Ziwani's strategic location.
