STS 06L: 5 Days Mara and Nakuru
Enjoy visiting Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara. Lake Nakuru is known for being an alkaline lake that
feeds several species of birdlife including the pink flamingoes. This is the place to view the birds is from Baboon Cliff, this is where you get an excellent view over the lake, and the wonderful spectacle of pink flamingos. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is one of the best places in Africa for wildlife viewing. Game drives are a great way to experience the park and are done all year round.
Day 1:Nairobi
On arrival at the airport,you are met by our representative and transfered to Boulevard Hotel for Bed and Breakfast
Day 2: NAIROBI- MARA
After breakfast at 08:30 hrs, leave Nairobi for Mara Game Reserve with a stop over at the great rift valley view point. Arrive in time for lunch and proceed for a game drive in search of the black maned lion, elusive leopard, cheetah, buffalo and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sopa/Mara Serena lodge.
Day 3: MARA FULL DAY
Full day spent exploring this magnificent park with . Optional visit to the Maasai village accompanied by Maasai morans.Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sopa/Mara Serena lodge.
Day 4: MARA-NAKURU
After breakfast,pack all your luggages and proceed for your last game drive as you exit Mara for L. Nakuru, the world’s famous ornithological spectacle.This is refered to as the pink lake because of its large masses of bird conceration.There is also wildlife here like the white rhino,leopards and elephants. You will have your lunch on the way at Narok town. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge/Sarova lodge
Day 5: NAKURU- NAIROBI
After breakfast proceed for a game drive, an opportunity to see the white rhino, Zebras, Leopards
Cheeters, Elephants. Later depart for Nairobi arriving before lunch.Lunch in Nairobi with an optional Nairobi city Tour and later transfer to the airport for your flight home.
